Filipe Ferreira | Product Design Portfolio

I’m Filipe Ferreira, a Product Designer focused on UI and UX. I create digital experiences that balance usability, clarity, and visual impact. My background in Graphic Design and Communication, combined with a Design degree from IADE, Creative University, gives me a strong foundation for approaching design with both function and storytelling in mind.

I started my path at the Professional School of Image (EPI) in Lisbon, where I studied Graphic Design and Communication and specialized in branding and campaigns. After that, I studied Film and Sound at ESAD, College of Art and Design, where I learned more about media and explored the artistic side of my practice. This stage was less about strict design training and more about creative development, being exposed to film, visual culture, and different artistic approaches that still influence the way I think about design today.

Later, I completed my Design degree at IADE, Creative University, which also gave me the chance to study abroad at East China Normal University in Shanghai, where I expanded my skills in a global and multidisciplinary environment.

I also had the chance to partake in a Figma Masterclass at Noble Desktop in New York, further specializing in the software and deepening my expertise in its advanced concepts and workflows.

Professionally, I spent almost two years working as a Web Designer at PILL, a Lisbon-based company developing digital solutions and web applications. There, I designed interfaces and contributed to shaping user experiences across a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in digital product design and collaboration within a fast-paced team. Before that, I completed a 5-month internship at Build Up Labs, a startup incubator, where I worked on digital and social media campaigns, an experience that taught me to adapt quickly and design with purpose.

I’ve worked on projects ranging from UI/UX for web products to branding and campaigns, and I’ve also used design for causes I care about, such as creating visual materials to support an animal shelter’s fundraising efforts.

Outside of design, I skate, I do photography, I spend a lot of time exploring films and music and im also learning Chinese.
